Lena Milam

Lena Pearl Milam, 78, Elkton, Kentucky (formally of Clarksville), died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p. m. Saturday at McReynolds - Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Roy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Stewart County. Visitation will be from 11:00 am til service Saturday at funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Milam was born in Big Rock in Stewart Co. TN., September 11, 1929, the daughter of Bailey and Ruth McGinnis Johnson. She worked as a cook at South Fork Restaurant, she was a Baptist, and formerly worked at Bootster Manufacturing. Mrs. Milam is survived by one daughter, Sue (Tommy) Morton, Elkton. Three sons, Robert (Cindy) Milam, Murfreesboro, Mark and Paul Milam, Elkton, KY. One brother, Jim Johnson, Clarksville and 2 sisters, Marie McIntire, Woodlawn and Nellie Denton, Nashville. Four grandchildren, Monica (David)Massie, April Harper, Jennifer and Joshua Milam. Two Great- grandchildren, Dylan and Shelby Harper. Pallbearers will be: David Massie, Brian Borders, Bailey Johnson, David Johnson, Neal Johnson and Vaughn Rushing.
