Lena Jane Grimes

Lena Jane Weems Grimes, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens and Benton Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Jane entered into this life on February 3, 1936, in Montgomery County, TN to the late John and Euvalla Nicks Weems. She was a teacher’s aide and cafeteria server at Montgomery Central and was also a caretaker for the elderly. Jane was a member of Lee’s Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Grimes; son, Allen Grimes; two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy (Larry) Wallace, Suzy (Keith) Griffin, Kim Park; grandchildren, Stacey (Bryan) Coulter, Jamie (Kevin) Luton, Amy (Clay) Larson, Joey Wallace, Chad (Crystal) Griffin, Kristin (John David) Sellers, Chase (Taylor) Griffin, Bethaney (Andy) Nielsen, Coleby Park; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
