Lee Ann Brandon unexpectedly went home to the arms of Jesus on July 31, following a brief illness.
Lee Ann was born on June 9, 1956 in Memphis Tennessee to Eugene and Mary Catherine ( Kacky) Lendermon. She was a graduate of Overton High School in Memphis, Tennessee, and later became a proud alumna of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Lee Ann was touched by anyone with special needs and after receiving a degree in special education at UT, began her career as a special education teacher. Soon after, she was introduced to Ted Brandon, who swept her off her feet and made her his bride. They were married for 40 years at the time of her passing, and their marriage was one of total devotion and love, and example for all to follow. Lee Ann and Ted settled in Clarksville Tennessee after completion of his medical training where they were blessed with two sons, Matthew and John Daniel. Lee Ann loved her family and devoted her life to their happiness and success. In addition to her family Lee Ann served her church, her community her friends, and for many years spent several weeks a year as a missionary to China where she enthusiastically shared the gospel. She loved Jesus above all else and it was displayed in everything she did and said and in the way she lived every day of her life. Lee Ann was fun!!! She lit up the room wherever she went with her smile that radiated from her eyes and made you feel as if you were the most important person in the world. She made everyone around her happy. If you were a friend of Lee Ann, you counted yourself as special, and that included the entire cities of Clarksville Tennessee, and Memphis Tennessee.
Lee Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Kacky Lendermon, and her grandmother Ethel Lendermon Buehl.
She leaves her husband, Dr. Ted Brandon, her sons Matthew (Crystal) Brandon of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, John Daniel Brandon (Natalie) of Clarksville, Tennessee, and a sister, Dr. Laura Lendermon of Germantown, Tennessee, and her nephew, Davis Rangi of Germantown Tennessee. She also leaves behind the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Sadie and Shay Brandon, Jacob Brandon, and Logan and Ella Mullaney; beloved Golden Doodle, Stonewall.
