Lawrence Mosby was born September 24, 1952 in Kelso, Arkansas, to the late V.T. Mosby, Sr. and Ceola Kyles Mosby.
Lawrence accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He united with the Love Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Kelso, AR, under the leadership of Reverend Otis Harris.
Lawrence served in the United States Army. He was employed by Kroger as a Butcher where he was a faithful and very dedicated employee until he resigned to be the Caregiver of his wife, Diana due to her health.
Lawrence was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He loved his family dearly. He spent his time taking care of his wife, children, grandchildren and traveling to see his family and friends as often as he could. He would do anything for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his father, V.T. Mosby, Sr. one sister, Louise Mosby Stringer, three brothers V.T. Mosby, Jr, Maurice Mosby and Floyd Mosby.
He departed this life, Monday, 19, 20I8, at 12:09p at his home in Clarksville, TN. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving Mother, Ceola Kyles Mosby, McGehee, AR; His wife of Jacquelynn Diana Mosby, Clarksville, TN; (2) sons Mark (Yolanda) Mosby, Jacksonville, FL and Terrence Mosby, Lenexa, KS. (2) daughters, Johanna Mosby Pocattello, ID and Simone Hodge (Gregory) Clarksville, TN. (11) Grandchildren; (2) Great-Grandchildren; (2) brothers, Loyce (Alice) Mosby, Nashville, AR and Joe Mosby both of McGehee, AR; (6) sisters, Helen Mosby, Dermott City Nursing Home, Dermott, AR; Patricia Ross, Middletown, OH; Bernestine Mosby, Mesquite, TX; Virginia (Norberto) Carmona, Arlington, TX; Athaline Bentley, Fort Smith, AR and Jacqueline Mosby Reed, McGehee, AR; and (1) uncle and aunt, Joseph and Mary Kyles, Chicago, IL; A host of relatives and friends.
