Lawrence Neal Hall, age 91, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Alex Yarbrough Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Lawrence entered this life on February 26, 1921 in Montgomery Co., son to James Lindsey Hall and Madie Shelton Hall. As a young man, Lawrence bravely served his country as a mounted cavalryman during WWII. In the past he worked for Frosty Morn Meat Packers and was retired from farming and also Southwest Forest Box Co. Lawrence was a member of the church family at Cumberland Heights United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Yarbrough Hall of Clarksville, children, David Hall and wife Frances of Clarksville and Connie Hall Newlove of Clarksville. He was the grandfather of Tammy Hall Bryant and husband Jerry, Janna Hall Wallace and husband Jeff, Dana Hall Smith and husband Mark, and Samantha Ellis and husband Tom, and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William C. Hall.
