Lawrence E. "Larry" Schroeder

Lawrence Edwin "Larry" Schroeder, 64, Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Drs. John David Laida and Felts Dent officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Larry was born March 12, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia, son of the late Owen R. Schroeder, Sr. and Esther Raker Schroeder. He was a US Army Veteran and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Larry was a retired Construction Supervisor in the cable television industry and was a Baptist.
Larry is survived by his loving family which include his wife, Jane Schmittou Schroeder of Clarksville; sons, Patrick and Joshua Schroeder, both of Clarksville; brothers and their wives, Owen Schroeder, Jr. and Ann of Clarksville, Gary Schroeder and Michelle of Houston, TX, and Chris Schroeder and Janice of Clarksville; sister and her husband, Theresa and Dan Ammons of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Channing Schroeder of Madisonville, KY and Natalie Schroeder of Clarksville; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Blanche Jones and his brother, Ricky Schroeder.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Cavin, Andy Warren, Owen Schroeder III, Troy Schroeder, Cy Schroeder, and Tommy Schmittou.
