Lawrence Leroy Bumpus, 83, Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bumpus was born November 4, 1933 in Clarksville, and was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Roy and Henritta Stone Bumpus.
He was a retired United States Air Force Veteran, a Christian who loved people, model airplanes and Woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Stuard Bumpus; daughter, Angela S. Ramsey; brother, Billy J. Bumpus; sister, Virginia N. Bakos; three step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
