Laverne Winfree

Robbie Laverne Winfree, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The Winfree family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 and 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Ms. Winfree was born on October 9, 1938 in Clarksville, TN, daughter of the late William and Robbie Suiter.
In addition to her parents, Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jackson Winfree; granddaughter, Haley Winfree; brother, J.D. Suiter and sisters, Lucille, Mabel, Dinky, Betty, and Lagretta.
Survivors include her son, Tim (Pam) Winfree; daughter, Penny (John) Yarbrough; grandchildren, Brandi (David) DeLarosa, Michael (Desi) Yarbrough, Kelsey Winfree and Daniel Freeman; great grandchildren, Bayle, Corbin, Emma, and Ari; and sister, Jean Strange.
Pallbearers will be Michael Yarbrough, Justin McKay, Justin Gibbs, Bryan Brake, Roy Rice, and Buddy McClellan.
Memorials may be made to Excell Baptist Church Building Fund.
