Laverne Weakley, age 92, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial will follow at Woodall Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Laverne entered into this life on March 4, 1929, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Thomas and Mary Frances Beard Wallace. Laverne was a homemaker and a certified nursing assistant. Laverne was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dudley Weakley; father of her children, Thomas Allen Waynick; sons, Frank Waynick and Tony Waynick; sisters, Bernice Waynick, Marie Evans, Mattie Mohon, Pauline Bogard, and Margaret Knowles; brother, John Wallace.
Survivors include her daughters, Patty Reed (Gary) King, Faye (Mark Hodges) Waynick, Ann Waynick; stepsons, Roger Weakley, Greg Weakley, Kevin Weakley, Bob Weakley; sisters, Virginia Wolard and Helen Fortino; grandchildren, Jamie Ferrell, Michael Corbin, Jesse Waynick, Matthew Reed, Emily Poole, Rebecca Reed, Jennifer Reed, Dana Schneider.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hodges, Roger Weakley, Matthew Reed, Wayne Bowers, Terry Bowers, Scott Poole.
