Laura Etson

Laura Ann Etson (McKeethen), age 37 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.

Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at Gateway Christian Church. Burial will take place at Metropolis Memorial Gardens in Metropolis, IL.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Laura entered this life on January 30, 1984 in Corpus Christie, TX to Michael McKeethen and the late Vicki Moorman McKeethen. She grew up in Clarksville, surrounded by family, and obtained her Master's Degree in nursing. Laura worked as a Nurse Practitioner, but her true passion was working in the Operating Room where she could apply her skill-set under pressure. She never missed an opportunity to use what she had learned to help others. Laura loved family more than anything, and her departure leaves a massive void in all of our hearts.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Joshua Etson; children, Paige Heglund, Levi Etson, and Julia Etson; brothers, Christopher McKeethen, Noah Claypool, and Marcus Craven; sisters, Brooke Craven, Caroline Claypool, and Karla McKeethen; and stepmother, Tiffany McKeethen.
