Larry Wayne Wilson

Larry Wayne Wilson, of Clarksville, passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on September 8, 1949, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Willie and Irma Atkins Wilson.

Larry dedicated a significant portion of his professional life to the Fire Department at Ft. Campbell, where he served with distinction until his retirement. His commitment to public service reflected his honorable character and deep-rooted desire to help those around him. Additionally, Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force.

A man of varied interests, Larry found immense joy in the great outdoors, particularly through fishing and hunting. In quieter moments, he enjoyed watching old westerns and classic films.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Katha Campbell Wilson; son Michael (Kelli) Wilson; daughter Marcie (Jeffrey) Perkins. Larry proudly adored his grandchildren, Justin Perkins, Lacey Perkins, Luke Wilson, Ava Wilson, Lainey Perkins, and Jeffrey Perkins, Jr., who were the light of his life and brought him immeasurable joy.

A family service will be held at a later date.
