Larry Schmidt

Larry Michael Schmidt, age 74, of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald D. Burgess officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Smith-Austin Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Larry entered this life on November 24, 1947, in Hanover, PA to Russell and E. May Ford Schmidt. He retired from The United States Army after 22 years of dedicated service and went on to retire from Civil Service. Larry was a faithful member of Mt. View Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dover, TN where he was a choir member. Larry was also a member of Paris Skeet Club.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife, Judith Cook Schmidt; brother, Aaron Schmidt; sisters, Brenda Trowbridge, and Ann Mertens.
