Larry Wayne Revlett, 69 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. William Luffman officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
Larry was born September 2, 1946 in Montgomery County, to the late Hershel and Evelyn Revlett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Robin Revlett. Larry leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Bessie Lee Revlett; son, Neil and wife Moni Revlett; three grandchildren, Oliver, Sterling, and Bronson Revlett; two nieces and one nephew. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and mentor to many other young men during his lifetime.
Larry served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was past Vice President of Cumberland Heights Civitan. He was a CHUD water commissioner Vice President. Larry was the owner of Allied Mechanics for 40 years and just recently retired. He was also a life member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity (TN ETA) at Austin Peay State University.
