Larry Hickman Patterson

   Larry Hickman Patterson, age 71 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family.  

   A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Alsobrooks Cemetery.   

   Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon.

   Larry entered this life on July 6, 1952, in McEwen, TN, son to the late Charlie Hickman Patterson and Ruby Ann Hicks Patterson. Larry was a talented carpenter who could build and fix anything. His passions included hunting and fishing, but his true love was taking care of his grandbabies. He will be truly missed.  

   In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, Linda Vandeveer, Joann Patterson, Ed Patterson, Emmett Patterson, and Howard Patterson. 

   Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Dana Patterson; children, Jamie (Ashley) Patterson, Anna (Brian) Patterson Richardson; siblings, Margie (Jerry) Jacobson, Vema Patterson, and Connie Miller. Larry also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Brooklyn, Madison, Talon, Carrie, and Maverick. 

   Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Richardson, Chase Chadwick, Darryl Miller, Bradley Walker, Sidney Cathey, and Ray Tomlinson.  

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge-Nashville, 2008 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN, 37246.
