Larry Metcalf

Larry Metcalf, age 63 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Brother James Shepard and his longtime friend, Representative Curtis Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Larry was born on April 16, 1951 in Asheville, NC, the son of Ilva and Zora Metcalf. Larry was a well-respected community leader and businessman who owned several local businesses including Metcalf Realty, and was a Certified Real-estate appraiser and had taught as an Adjunct Professor for APSU.
He is survived by his wife Yang Mi Metcalf; sister, Judy Watson; and longtime friend, Thomas Hallberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksville Humane Society at 940 Tennessee Avenue Clarksville, TN 37040.
