Lanny Kembrew Kmcheck, 42, Clarksville, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. John Laida officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Lanny was born June 13, 1970 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Katherine Streetman Kmecheck.
He was a 1988 graduate of Clarksville High School, 1994 graduate of Austin Peay State University, counselor for Tennessee Department of Labor, a member of First Baptist Church, and was formerly a volunteer for the Good Samaritan Medical and Dental Ministry.
Other than his father and step-mother, Gerald and Dorothy Grimes Kmecheck; he is survived by his companion of 10 years, Ricky Ford; son, Clay Kmecheck; brother, Kris (Debbie) Kmecheck; sisters, Anita (Glenn) Stevanus, Susie (Zeigfried) Gruber, Marcy (Gary)Mowry; niece, Aysha Haroon; nephews, Glenn Stevanus III, Chad Stevanus, Peter Mowry; and numerous cousins.
