Lakie Hopson, age 88 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
Lakie was born on December 9, 1926 in Bean Station, TN but grew up in Russellville, TN. She is the daughter of the late Hobart Anderson and Rosa Delias Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hopson and sons, Kenneth Hopson, Garry Hopson, and Frank Hopson.
Lakie is survived by her sons, James (Karen) Hopson and Terry Hopson; daughters, Barbara Slade, Sandra Taylor Powell, Pam (David) Ford, and Kathy (Jason) Morris; brother, Hugh Anderson; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 3 step-grandchildren.
