Kyong Cha Hollis, born on October 13, 1949, in the loving embrace of her family in Daegu, South Korea, passed away peacefully at her home in Clarksville on April 15, 2025, with her devoted husband by her side. She was a shining example of grace and dedication, deeply leaving her mark as an impeccable housekeeper and a loving homemaker.
Kyong's heart was as vibrant as the gardens she meticulously tended. Her green thumb allowed her to create lush spaces that brought beauty and joy to all who had the pleasure of visiting or passing her home. Beyond her nurturing of plants, Kyong was a cherished member of her community, serving as an Elder at One Heart Baptist Church, where she was actively involved and deeply loved.
Kyong is survived by her beloved husband, Willard E. Hollis (USAF, Ret), and her sisters in South Korea, Kyong Suk Pae, Chin Suk Pae, and Suk Cha Pae. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chu Tae Pae and Choe In Sun.
A gathering will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Shin Sung Il officiating. Services will be held at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, located at 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040.
Kyong Cha Hollis will be remembered for her unwavering love, her infectious smiles, and her unparalleled ability to nurture and inspire those around her. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
