Kyoko T. LaLonde, passed away peacefully at her home in Clarksville on February 12, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on May 16, 1942, in Okinawa, Japan, Kyoko dedicated her life to beautifying the world around her through her artistry in floral design, particularly during her time at Four Seasons Florist. In her youth in Okinawa, she studied floral design technique, furthering her talent and passion for creating breathtaking arrangements. Her gift brought joy to countless individuals over the years and left a lasting impression on all those who had the pleasure of experiencing her work.
As a young lady, she met and married CPT John J. LaLonde. Together they came to the United States where she learned from his example to be a proud American with an undying love for this country she called home. In addition to her time spent as a floral designer, Kyoko was a beautician and an owner of both an Army supply business and Home Decorating Center.
She has a daughter, Michelle (Mimi) Monique LaLonde and a granddaughter, Victoria McDonald.
Her legacy is one of creativity, love, and resilience, which will remain in the hearts of her loved ones. Kyoko T. LaLonde will be remembered not only for her exceptional skills as a floral designer but also for the warmth and kindness she radiated to everyone she encountered. Her spirit will undoubtedly live on in the lives she touched and the beauty she crafted. Her wish was that when she left this Earth no one have any sorrow but celebrate as she joins Jesus and the love of her life. She asked for no formal funeral, but to be cremated and her ashes be returned to the Earth.
