Kirby Perry

Kirby Lee Perry, age 80, of Montgomery County, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor John Richardson officiating.

Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Kirby entered this life on January 20, 1943, in Bumpus Mills, TN to the late James (JW) and Flora Wall Perry. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School, former member of Gracey Ave Baptist Church and current member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. He was a foreman for Trane Company and worked for Wall Construction for over 50 years. In his spare time, Kirby enjoyed fishing, motorcycle racing, bronco busting, playing softball, camping, and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Nunn.

Survivors include his wife, Rhea Perry; daughter Lorie Perry: son by marriage, Chris Carnall (Christy); brother, Gary Dale Perry (Dorothy) granddaughters, Ashlee, Alayna, Stephanie, Janice and KayLee and great-grandchildren, Riley, Jensen, Jimmy, Anna, Gracie, Kemper, Luca, Daxton, and Elinor.

Pallbearers will be Bill Devers, James Wall, Larry Wall, Kenneth Wall, Terry Wall, Dane Elliott,

Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Devers, Steve Wall, and Gary Dale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TWRA, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Urban Ministry, or a charity of your choice.
