Kenneth Harold “Smitty” Smith, age 77 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday and from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born on December 23, 1937 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Riley Elliott Smith and Leona Gibbs Smith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda J. Smith; brother, Bobby Smith; sisters, Virginia Smith and Erma Smith.
He was a lifetime member of the Machinist Union Local 1296.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Kyle Smith and Kenny Smith; daughter, Kimberlee (Darryl) Taylor; grandson, Michael Smith; brother, Howard Smith.
Members of the Machinist Union Local 1296 will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at 1 Vantage Way, Nashville, TN 37228.
