Kenneth Richard “Dick” Jarman, age 80 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. James Green officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday, May 5, 2014 and from 9 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday.
Dick entered this life on June 8, 1933 in Palmyra and was the son of Herman Jarman and Etha Jarman. He attended Montgomery Central High School and Austin Peay State University. He had worked for the IRS and retired from Civil Service as an Auditor at Fort Campbell. He was also a member of Memorial Baptist, a veteran in the US Navy, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joann Weatherford Jarman; son, Kenneth Dwayne Jarman and wife Tanya; daughter, Beverly Jean Zimmermann and husband Klaus; brother, Larry Jarman; grandchildren, Dwayne Holt, Sara Holt, Joann Kinnard, Heather Jarman, Jeffrey Slate II, and Ashlen Slate; 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Holt, Stacy Holt, Anthony Weatherford, Thomas Aaron Weatherford, Jason Kinnard, and Taylor Andros.
