Kay Hudson

Kay Francis Hudson, age 78 of Erin, TN, passed away May 13, 2022, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Sheriff Kevin Sugg, Mr. Howard Lee Jobe, and Mr. Joel Nolen officiating. The Hudson family will receive friends and family on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon at the Funeral home. Burial will follow in Hudson Cemetery.
Kay entered this life on October 16, 1943, in Erin, TN, son of the late George Carmack Hudson and Eunice Morris Hudson. Kay proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he did two tours in Vietnam aboard the USS Boxer and was a County Magistrate for Houston County. His hobbies included deer hunting, turkey hunting, trading guns, as well as digging ginseng. Kay was an avid carpenter who loved guns, listening to bluegrass music, and working in his vegetable garden. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Mack Hudson; his sister, Georgia Nell Hudson, and his Great niece, Angela Hudson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Hudson; brother, Dell (Sue) Hudson; and daughter, Krystal Tucker. Kay also leaves behind two grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat, Callie. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Hudson, Grant Hudson, Jed Hudson, Scott Shepherd, Colter Jackson, and Dylan Wood. Honorary Pallbearers will be a host of local Law Enforcement Officers.
