Katie Ford Self, 93, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Signature Health Care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Katie was born July 30, 1918 in Indian Mound, TN, daughter of John M. and Mabel Gillum Ford. She was retired from Acme Boot Company and was a member of Indian Mound Methodist Church.
Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Self, her brother, John Ford, and sisters, Hauttie Mullins, Bertie Dennison, Marie Mann, and Pauline Mullins.
Survivors include the daughter of her husband, Betty Maloney of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; her brother, the Rev. Paul Ford of Clarksville; grandchildren, Catherine, Barbara, Brian, and James, all of Florida; two great grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
