Kathleen Gwen Story, age 55, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at her home in Clarksville.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Vick officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart-Rinehart Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Kathy entered into this life on July 2, 1961 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of James Ray “Bud” and Bona Bagwell Perry. Kathy loved her church family at McAdoo Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. She was also actively involved in the Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry and served on the Session Records Committee of the Nashville Presbytery.
Kathy has been reunited with her beloved son, Perry Clayton Story, who preceded her in death, along with her sister, Judy Ann Coakley.
In addition to her loving parents, Kathy is survived by her faithful husband of 32 years, Garry Marshall Story; daughter, Katherine Story, and her sister, Jamie (Michael) Byard.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Miracle, Allen Miracle, Adam Miracle, Jessie Holt, Anthony Jenkins, and Beau Baggett. Honorary pallbearers will be active and inactive Elders of McAdoo C.P. Church and Jerry Mann.
Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s memory to either the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
