Kathy Major

Laura Kathryn Major, 56, Clarksville, ran to Jesus, Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. A Celebration of her life will be held, 2 p.m. Sunday at Hilldale Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Rowland, Rev. Ron Edmondson and Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the church. She was born June 17, 1951 in Hopkinsville, KY, daughter of Roland Pryor and Gladys Turner Pryor. Mrs. Major was a member of Grace Community Church, WNKJ Christian Radio Station Board, Moms In Touch, Home Schoolers Association and was employed by the Kennedy Law Firm. Her family was her life. She is survived by her loving family, including her Mother, Hopkinsville, she is survived by her husband, Ben J. Major, Clarksville; children, Nicole (Ted) Ely, Clarksville, Adam (Jennifer) Major, Chattanooga; brothers, Brandon Pryor, Illinois, Jerry Pryor, Texas; sister, B.J. Pryor, Hopkinsville; grandchildren, Seth Ely, Jacob Major, Zoe Major, Blaine Ely, Sebastian Major, Jude Major, Annabelle Major. Pallbearers will be Keith Hurt, Brian Hill, Bruce Kennedy, David Boles, Dennis Weiland and Roy Cavender. Memorials may be made to WNKJ Radio Station,P.O.
