Katherine Hoard

Katherine Josephine Hoard, 75, Clarksville, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. She was born November 29, 1933 in Montgomery County and was the daughter of the late Russell and Willie Mae Rives Sivels and was the widow of James "Shorty" Hoard. Mrs. Hoard was a homemaker and a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Eddie (Judy) Claxton, Billy Claxton; daughters, Gail Sparkman, Nicki (Ray) Wallace; step-son, Ronnie (Brenda) Hoard; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchilden, all of Clarksville.
