Katherine Grace Heggie, age 83 of Cumberland Furnace, TN, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.
Katherine entered this life on February 28, 1939 in Detroit, MI, daughter to the late Frank Gustomski and Bernice Bielak Gustomski. Katherine later married Robert Heggie and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Clarksville, TN. She worked as a book binder at Josten’s.
In additions to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Heggie; her son, Chris Heggie; and her son-in-law, Jimmy Frye.
Survivors include her loving children, Kevin Heggie (Sun Hee), Kim O’Brien, Jo Wright/Frye, and Scarlet McWhorter. She also leaves behind her dear grandchildren, Sarah Massa, Jeremy McWhorter, Freddie McWhorter, Evan McWhorter, Anna Bruin, Stephanie Bruin, Ashley Fowler, Andrew Manners; several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will host a Graveside Service will be held 10 a.m.Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Dunbar Cemetery.
