Katherine Burney

Katherine Trice Burney, 95, of Clarksville passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Katherine was born September 9, 1928, in Clarksville, TN.  She had been in assisted living in Knoxville, TN for the last five years.  She retired from Fort Campbell as a civilian employee.  One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family.

Katherine is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burney, of 57 years; her parents Wesley and Ethel Trice; her ten brothers and sisters; her son Philip Burney, his wife Donna and grandson Wesley Burney.

She is survived by her sons, Dennes Burney (Nancy) and Robert Burney (Janie); grandchildren Rob Burney (Barbara), Anne Psensky (Tim), Thomas Burney, Charlie Burney, Kyle Burney (Heather), Katie Beirne (Garrett), Kristopher Burney (Dawn); great-grandchildren Grace Burney, Matthew Burney, Everly Beirne, Emmalyn Beirne, and Camden Burney.
