Eileen Branch

October 12, 1947 — November 30, 2024

Clarksville

Katherine Eileen Branch, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the age of 77. Eileen was a long-time resident of Clarksville and a blessing to every life she touched. She lived her life in devotion to Christ, her family, and to others, she was truly one of a kind. Her love, kindness, patience, and gratitude were unmatched. She was a gift, honor and blessing to everyone she encountered.

Eileen was born on October 12, 1947, and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of John and Sammie Parker, and sister to Justine Smith. She graduated from David Lipscomb with a major in home economics, going on to do post graduate work at Ole Miss. She spent many years working in children’s ministry as well as the daycare at Madison Street Church of Christ, and later as co-owner of Kids Kove Daycare in Pleasant View. Her passion, love of others, gentleness, and quiet strength shined in every aspect of her life.

Eileen and her husband, Lyle Poston Branch, were married on December 27, 1968. They shared 56 years of friendship, devotion, and love, supporting one another through every challenge, joy, and adventure.

As a mother, there are few words worthy of description for Eileen as she was a true gift, light, and guide to her children Bryan Dylan Branch and Michelle Leigh “Shelly” Sterban. While their time on this earth was far too short, she was also a loving mother to twins, Chad Steven Branch and Kelly Lynne Branch. By example, she instilled a foundation of compassion, love, generosity, gratitude, joy, kindness, courage, and peace, with a zest for life and value of family that will carry on. She cherished every moment spent with family and those she loved creating a lifetime of memories.

Eileen was passionate about service to others and passionate about cooking. She served in various ministries through her years at Madison Street Church of Christ (now Trenton Crossing Church of Christ). She relished opportunities of giving through gifts, cards, letters, meals, and words of kindness, as she firmly believed everyone deserved to be loved and shown honor.

Eileen is survived by her husband Lyle, her children Dylan and Shelly, and her sister Justine (Spouse: Doug Smith, Children: Parker and Michael Smith). She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sammie Parker, and her children Chad and Kelly Branch.

Eileen’s heart of a saint and love for others knew no bounds. She will live on through each life she touched and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the honor and privilege of sharing in her life.

A visitation will be held on Saturday December 7, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Trenton Crossing Church of Christ in Clarksville, Tennessee, with funeral services and celebration of life immediately following at 1:00 pm.

The family asks if sending a card, please share a note with a special memory of Eileen’s life, in lieu of words of sorrow. While her journey on this earth has ended and the time feels too short, Eileen Branch leaves a legacy of love that will always remain in those who were blessed to share her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Well https://trentoncrossingchurch.com/the-well/ or to World Bible School at https://www.worldbibleschool.net/give/

Words will never be enough to describe the beauty of you. We miss you immensely and would give it all for one more moment and one more chance to tell you we love you to the moon and back. We know your welcome home was victorious as you heard the words, well done, my good and faithful servant.

We love you and we thank you for loving us.
