Katherine Bateman - 1925 Katherine O. Bateman, 84, Erin, Tennessee, died Monday, November 8, 2010, at Patients Choice Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10am Friday at Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Lockhart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30pm until 8pm Thursday and from 8am until service time Friday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born December 5, 1925 in Houston County, Tn. daughter of the late Nick Meadow and Beatrice Fowler Meadow. She was a member of Erin United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband Charles Austin Bateman, one son Charles Austin Bateman Jr. one grand-daughter Lee Bateman Munday, and one brother Orman Meadow. Surviviors include two sons Charles Donald (Jackie) Bateman of Erin, Tn., Tom Bateman (Robin) of Franklin, Tn., one daughter Nancy (Richard) Jarrett of Dickson, Tn.,one brother Austin Meadow of Erin, Tn., five grandchildren, Austin Bateman, Lara Jarrett, James Jarrett, Matthew Jarrett, Charlie Bateman and two great-grandchildren Jacob Austin Bateman and Katie Lee Bateman. Pallbearers will be family members. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Meadow and Free Forum Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Erin Uninted Methodist Church, J.D.
