Katharina Smith

Katharina Smith, age 83, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Kathy’s family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Kathy entered this life on November 8, 1939, in Yugoslavia to parents Martin and Theresia Juhasek. In addition to being a superb homemaker, Kathy was a loving caretaker and provider for her family, and a supportive Army wife. Kathy was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her loving husband, Kirby Eugene Smith; children, Steven Smith (Amy), Kimberly Rollins (Brandon), Patricia McDonald (Mike), Jennifer McEndree (Steve), grandchildren, Skye, Joshua, Austin, Chloe, Liam, Brodey, Lilly, Jayna, and great grandchildren, Maddy, Abby, Li’ia. She is also survived by her two siblings, Joe and Steve.
