Karen was born on November 7, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Kenneth Leroy Alderson and Barbara Jean Ostermeier Alderson. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Karen was a devoted grandmother and Nanny to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Otis C. Johns, I; children, Otis C. Johns, II, Jessica L. (Roger) Wilson, Kenneth J. Johns, and Megan N. Johns; brother, Kenneth R. Alderson; grandchildren, Nicole L. Rutledge, Justin D. Rutledge, Makayla L. Pate, and Madison E. Pate.
