Karen J. Bartee

Karen June Bartee, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

She will be laid to rest in London, Ohio at a later date.

Karen entered this life on August 26, 1951 in London, OH to the late Kenneth Litchfield and Rebecca Hodge Litchfield. She was a member of the 1031 VFW and Ladies Auxiliary in Springfield, OH. As well as the Eagles and American Legion in Oak Grove, KY. Karen was a hardworking mother, always working multiple jobs. Ultimately retiring from the Dole Factory after many years of hard work as the packing & shipping manager. Through the years, Karen always enjoyed doing yard work. Her greatest treasure of all was her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Scott Allen McBride; siblings, Kenneth, Mary Kay, and William Litchfield, and brother-in-law, Owen Dale Lowe.

Survivors include her daughter, Chauna Bartee (Alayna); daughter-in-law, Theresa McBride; siblings, Richard Wilson (Pam) and Carol Lowe; grandchildren, Devin, Darryl, and Kyson.

Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
