June Foster Dempsey, age 87, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m., Friday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
June entered into this life on November 28, 1926 in Knox County, Tennessee She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick F. Foster and Sophia Dance Foster; brothers, Fred Foster Jr. and Guy Childress. She was retired from Josten's Printing Company and a Baptist.
She is survived by her loving family which includes her daughters, Trecia Mann Harrison and Vicky Mann (Larry) Chester; siblings, James David Foster, Barbara Johnson; grandchildren, Jeffrey Roy Chester, Charles Ray Holub IV, Katina Marie Meehan; and four great-grandchildren.
