Julian (Rip) Seay

Julian Ray (Rip) Seay 91, of Erin, Tn. passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 at Houston County Community Hospital. He was born November 6, 1924 in Montgomery County, Tn. son of the late William and Mildred Boone Seay. Rip was retired from the Navy and City of Erin, Tn. after 18 years. He was a member of Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Fred Seay, Brothers Eugene Seay, Neil Seay, Carter Seay, sisters Doris Rumfelt, Mary Ann Brooks and Lucille Babie. A memorial service will be 2pm Saturday July 9, 2016 at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Ferrell officiating visitation will be from 1pm until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Hagler Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 66 years Carlene Seay, one son Mike Seay, one daughter Debbie Adams, two brothers Jerry Seay, Joe Seay, one sister Amy Gray, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
