Julia Trice

February 24, 1932 — October 28, 2017

Julia Heflin Trice passed away at a Knoxville Assisted Living Facility where she was being cared for related to dementia.
A Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service Monday at the Funeral Home.
Born in Shady Grove, TN on Feb 24, 1932, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Nace Trice; a son, Patrick Nace Trice; her parents Luther & Mattie Heflin and her siblings, R.J. Heflin and Marie Heflin Albright. She is survived by two children, Glenda Trice Sublett and Jeffery Neal Trice, daughter-in-law Jacqueline Woodard Trice, son-in-law Christopher Boyd Sublett, and four grandchildren, Mathew Trice Sublett, Joshua Boyd Sublett, Joseph Neal Trice and Brooke Nicole Trice. Prior to marriage, Ms. Trice worked at several retail stores including McNeal & Edwards in downtown Clarksville. After starting a family, Ms. Trice was an active volunteer at Montgomery Central Schools and with the Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Brother Keith Wilson will officiate at her service. Pall bearers will be Neal Trice, Chris Sublett, Mathew Sublett, Joshua Sublett, and Joseph Trice and her great-nephew Mark Albright. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity Baptist Church in Sango or the Pat Head Summitt Alzheimer’s Foundation in Knoxville.
