Julia Madgalene Rye, age 90 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Chester officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The Rye family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2018 and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Julia entered into this life on March 23, 1928 in Clarksville, TN daughter of the late John and Hilda McClain Dycus. She was known for being a wonderful mother to her children. Julia enjoyed playing with her dog “Buddy”, shopping, and especially spending quality time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Rye.
Survivors include her son, Fred Graywolf (Rene) Lindsey; daughters, Martha (David) Armistead, and Vickie Stone; grandchildren, Jamie Tripp, Matthew Stone, Jason Hodges, and Adam Stone, and four great-grandchildren, Matthew Lee Stone, Jr., Andrew John, Clifton Lee Hodges, and Shawna Marie Tinsley.
Julia’s son and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
