Julia Maas, 100, Clarksville, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 8, 2008, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born January 8, 1908 in Galicia, Spain she moved to Cuba with her parents, the late Emil and Candida Araujo Gonzalez. She married Luis Maas in 1937 and moved to New York City in 1948. She was saved at the New York City Billy Graham Crusade in 1957 and thereafter devoted her life to spreading the Gospel. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004 and is survived by her son, Colonel Alexis Maas (USA RET) and his wife, Judy of Clarksville, two grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandsons and two brothers.
