Judy Gibbs

Judy Gibbs, 94, Clarksville, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at Montgomery Care and Rehab. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds - Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Lee Billings officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 Noon till service time Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gibbs was born March 7, 1915 in Clarksville, the daughter of Ed Wesley and Mable Elizabeth Sanders Shelton. She was married to Jesse Garland Gibbs. Mrs. Gibbs was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by a son, Jimmy (Debbie) Shelton, Clarksville and a daughter, Kathy (John) Westfall of Cadiz, KY. Fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be: Scott Coakley, Ricky Coakley, Taylor Jurisin, Ty Shelton, Jerry Groves and Stephen Mattingly. In Lieu of flowers: Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
