Judy Leftwich Devers, 64, Palmyra, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Belt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Judy was born March 23, 1947 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Virgil Upton Self and Lillie Marie Harris Self. She was a beautician and a cattle farmer and was a member of Pleasant View Non-Denominational Church. Survivors include her husband Mac Devers of Palmyra, daughters Angela (James) Beard of Cumberland Furnace, Jennifer (Hugh) Organ of Cumberland Furnace, Kim Devers of Cunningham, Melissa Devers of Evansville, IN, and Tabitha Landon of Clarksville, son Robert Landon II of Georgia, brother Randel (Connie) Self of Palmyra, sister Sheila (Ed) Burr of Greenbrier, TN, and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Self, Charles Peniston, Jeff Harris, Lonnie Devers, Jr., Randy Self, Jr., and Greg Burr. Gary Proctor will serve as honorary pallbearer.
