Judith Diana Jenkins, age 79, of Cumberland City, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Judith entered into this life on July 5, 1942 in Alabama Center, New York to the late William and Mary Thornton Scroger. She was retired from a manufacturing career and enjoyed sewing, crafting, and canning in her spare time. Judith also loved baking and cooking. She was known by all her family to be a wonderful and gracious host, opening up her home and preparing much of the meal for family and holiday gatherings. She loved her family deeply and would often reminisce of card games with her large family of 23 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Evan Thomas “Tom” Jenkins; children, Bruce (Jack) Prentice Jr. (Marcy), Todd Prentice (Susan Laesser), Julie Prentice, Heather Jenkins-Steinwachs, and Jennifer Goodrich (Scott); sister, Patty Pangrazio (John); grandchildren, Bruce III, Jordan, Summer Rose, Mark, Christina, Jarid, Butterfly, Crystal, Liam, Gwyn, Connor, Haley, Evan Jay, and Aiden; great grandchildren, Harley, Victoria, and Vivianna, Michael, Victoria, Alexandria, Tyson II, Jack, Kayeloni, Joe, Hayden, Elizabeth, Christopher, Ryder, Taylona, KaCee, Even, Destiny, Daisy, Dominic, Leonardo, Adam Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother and father, Judith was preceded in death by 22 brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Judith’s Life will be held and announced by her family at a later date.
