Juanita Zell Nichols, 82, Adams, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Thursday, September 10, 2009, at Baptist Hospital, Nashville. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. She was born April 5, 1927 in West Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents, Burns and Lummie Carpenter and her husband, Benjamin S. "Bennie" Nichols. Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker, a member of Harmony Baptist Church and the Cattlemans' Association of Robertson County. She was a fine Christian Woman, devoted to her family and church, and avid gardner all her life. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Chitty (Don Osborne), Adams, Vickie Rawlings (Jerry), Woodlawn, Sandy Mann (Don), Paris, Sally Lewis-Wright (Loren), Palmyra; brother, Russell Carpenter, WV; sisters, Joy Gladwell and Anna Davidson, both of WV; eighteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sam Chitty, Jason Butler, Jeff Shepherd, Corky Ward, Bobby Ogg, Derek Dean, Greg Swan and John Fuson.
