Joyce Dies

Joyce Rhea Dies, 74, Clarksville, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Regina Hall officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Dies was born March 13, 1936 in Lebanon, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Allison and Eula Brewington Gibson; and sister, Pauline Elliott She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Harry Paul Dies, Clarksville; son, Harry Paul (Jill) Dies Jr., McDonough, GA; daughter, Vicky (Steve) Davis, Clarksville; sister, Sue Ireland, Kokomo, IND; grandchildren, Jordan Davis O'Malley, Jessica Lynn Davis, both of Chattanooga, and Jenny Dies. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
