Joyce Berg

Joyce W. Berg, 89, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, peacefully in her home. She was born February 8, 1932 in Akron, Ohio to the late Homer and Bessie (Irwin) Wylie. Joyce married Wayne L. Berg on December 21, 1952 in Akron, OH and he preceded her in death on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 18, 2017.
Joyce is survived by her two granddaughters, Jennifer (Nathan) Boyd of Newark, OH; and Jacqueline (Isaac) Eclebery of Conway, SC; her two great grandsons, Seth Gipson and Caiden Boyd, both of Newark, OH; her son-in-law, Coy Sanders; daughter-in-love, Barbara Lucero; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joyce worked in a dental office for years, before becoming a homemaker. There was nothing she loved more than her family, and helping others. She would do anything for anyone, no matter the circumstances. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, and had such a beautiful and gentle soul, she was such an amazing person.
In addition to her parents and her beloved husband of 64 years, Joyce is preceded in death by all of her children, Gary W. Berg, Connie S. Gibbs, and Vicki L. Sanders; and her siblings, Norma Duvall, and Jack Wylie.
There will be a graveside memorial held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022.
