Joyce Ann Rye, age 66, of Guthrie, Kentucky, departed this life Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ted Denny officiating. Burial will follow in the Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Joyce was born June 22, 1945 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Preceding Joyce in death is her beloved husband, Jackie Rye.
Joyce leaves behind to cherish her in memories: loving sons, Jerre Burton of Oklahoma City, OK, Mark Burton of Kennett, MO, and Harry Burton of Clarksville, sister, Beverly Smith, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Joyce's family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver, Michelle Fikes.
