Joy Perry Mai, age 47, Clarksville, departed this life on Monday, September 23, 2013.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Goodmiller and Tony Suggs officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Joy entered into this life on September 18, 1966 in Montgomery County, daughter to Lewis Perry and Shirley Wallace Yarbrough. Joy was a 1984 graduate of Montgomery Central High School and the Day Care Director at Kids Depot. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her loving family which includes her children, Micheal Mai and Heather Mai-Welch and husband Joe, all of Clarksville; siblings, Dino Hale of Ashland City, Pattie Hancock of Clarksville, Debbie Schmittou of Texas, and Jennifer Perry of Clarksville; and step-parents, Wayne Yarbrough, Gary and Lora Hale, and Sue Perry. She was the loving Nana of Lucas Micheal Welch and Lauren Elise Welch.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Mai, Brian Mai, Dino Hale, Johnny Schmittou, Simon Hancock, Matt Cross, and Russ Johnson.
