Joshua Mitchell

Joshua “Josh” Aaron Mitchell, age 27 of Erin, TN, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021.
A Celebration of his Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Medders officiating. Burial will follow in Hudson Cemetery.
The Mitchell family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon.
Josh entered this life on January 1, 1994 in Clarksville, TN, son to Jonathan and Lori Hudson Mitchell. Josh graduated from Houston County High School in 2012 where he was a talented athlete. Josh never meet a stranger, and had a smile that was contagious. Josh loved hunting, fishing, hugs and being silly, but most importantly, Josh loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by anyone who ever knew him.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.L. “Bud” Hudson and John and Shirley Mitchell.
In addition to his loving parents, survivors include his siblings, Emily (David) Mead, Preston Mitchell; grandmother, Darlene (Tom) Knight; aunts and uncles, Lisa (Currie) Moore, Scott (Liz) Hudson, Ray (Janice) Mitchell, David Mitchell; cousins, Jamie (April) Singleton, Jesse (Beth) Singleton, Lisa (Scott) Webb, Laura (Cesar) Bayon, Dylan (Kelsey) Hudson and Katie Hudson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Wood, Douglas Weatherspoon, Adam Hudson, Aaron Mathis, Dylan Hudson, Jesse Singleton and Jamie Singleton. Honorary pallbearers will be the 2012 senior football class.
