Josephine Austin

Josephine Allen Ford Austin, age 84, of Adams, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sango, with Bishop Spencer Hodgkin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the church.
Josephine entered into this life August 29, 1930 in Robertson County, daughter to the late Sidney and Madie Grogan Ford. She was a loving and caring wife to her husband of 67 years, John C. Austin, who predeceased her just a short time ago. Josephine had previously worked for Roses Department Store for 20 years and also had an in-home daycare. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her sons, Connell Austin and wife Liz, Bobby Austin and wife Becky, Ronnie Austin and wife Candy, and Gary Austin and wife Marla; fourteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Connell Austin, Bobby Austin, Ronnie Austin, Gary Austin, Patrick Moore, and Joshua Head. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Jessup and Steve Ford.
