Joseph Sheppard

Joseph S. Sheppard, 75, Clarksville, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at McKendree Village, Hermitage. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home at the funeral home. He was born September 19, 1934 in Montgomery County, son of Edward Sheppard and Tillie Woollard Sheppard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, William Patrick and Helen Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard was a Clarksville native who was self-employed, served in the National Guard, and was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is survived by his niece and her husband, Patty and Roger Ramsey of Mt. Juliet and their children Katie and Cade Ramsey. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
